Biography
A taxi driver who came to Moscow from Pskov to earn money.
On 26 January 2021, he was detained as part of a criminal case on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities at a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on 23 January. According to the investigation, during the action on 23 January he pushed a metal barrier towards a police officer. This was not an act of aggression: a young man was detained nearby and Evsin tried to protect him. The policeman, who is the victim in the case, was wearing a helmet and protective gear

On 26 January 2021, he was detained as part of a criminal case on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities at a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on 23 January. According to the investigation, during the action on 23 January he pushed a metal barrier towards a police officer. This was not an act of aggression: a young man was detained nearby and Evsin tried to protect him. The policeman, who is the victim in the case, was wearing a helmet and protective gear and was not injured or damaged.
On 29 January, the court sent Evsin to custody.
On 7 April he was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.
In April, Yevsin was transferred to the Perm Region until the appeal was considered. Because of this, he had no opportunity to meet with his lawyers and relatives and could not familiarise himself with the case materials in court.
He was released on 3 November 2022.
