Valery Krukov

Resident of the Sverdlovsk region. He was accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation: the investigation believed that he was involved in the movement of "citizens of the USSR". Representatives of this movement deny the collapse of the USSR; it is unclear how structured this movement is or how serious of a threat it poses to Russian society. Kryukov was under recognisance not to leave. On 14 August 2024, he was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.
