Vasily Bolshakov

Resident of Kasimov (Ryazan Oblast). According to his wife, law enforcement officers threw Bolshakov on the floor, beat him up and handcuffed him. He was given a recognizance not to leave the country, but this preventive measure later expired because Bolshakov was not charged within the required ten days. On April 3, 2023, another case was brought against Bolshakov for defamation of the Russian Armed Forces. The cases were merged. During the debate it became known that the second episode was excluded from the combined case due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. On October 24, 2024 Bolshakov was sentenced to a fine of 240 thousand rubles. On December 9, 2024, the court of appeal released the convicted from the execution of punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
