Vera Ignatenko

A resident of St. Petersburg. A case of attempted murder was opened against her: according to the investigation, she accepted a friend's proposal to take part in the murder of the latter's husband, who was previously the husband of Ignatenko's grandmother. She was detained in June 2023, after which the investigation established that she was the administrator of a Telegram channel, in which she published calls to blow up buildings of law enforcement agencies. Ignatenko was also accused of calling for terrorism. On 4 December 2024, she was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony. In Karelia, where Ignatenko, according to the investigation, travelled to get poisonous liquid, a case of high treason was brought against her. On 14 October 2025, she was sentenced to 14 years in a general regime colony, taking into account her previous sentence.
