Veronika Belotserkovskaya

A popular Instagram blogger, who is currently living abroad, she was put on an international wanted list and arrested in absentia over a case of spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces. The court later seized her property. On 22 July 2022, the Ministry of Justice included Belotserkovskaya in the register of individuals considered foreign agents. Interpol refused to fulfil the Russian Federation's request for Belotserkovskaya's extradition. On 6 February 2023, she was sentenced in absentia to nine years of imprisonment. On 28 March the arrest over her property was lifted.
