He was prosecuted for public justification of terrorism for a comment in which he approved of the murder of the military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky and speculated that it would be worth killing the propagandists Margarita Simonyan, Vladimir Solovyov and others. The Yekaterinburg resident signed a recognizance not to leave the country.
