Resident of Moscow. From 28 March 2025, he had been arrested multiple times in Moscow and the Moscow region under the administrative article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code), and had spent almost five months under administrative arrest. Mediazona notes that although all resolutions state that Arnautov is a Russian citizen without registration, some resolutions say that information from the Central Data Bank on registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons of the Federal Migration Service of Russia was examined. On 24 August 2025 at the latest, Arnautov was apparently detained as part of a criminal case
