On 10 October he was summoned to the deputy dean's office, after which Gorelyshev was detained and taken to the police station. A case of vandalism was brought against him because of the inscription "No to War"

On 10 October he was summoned to the deputy dean's office, after which Gorelyshev was detained and taken to the police station. A case of vandalism was brought against him because of the inscription "No to War" on the monument to Lomonosov. According to Gorelyshev, under pressure he wrote a confession, then he was taken to the place where he left the spray paint cans and demanded to show how exactly he applied the inscription. On 23 January 2023, the court dismissed the case and ordered Gorelyshev to pay a court fine.
