Biography
He is a resident of Novouralsk (the Sverdlovsk region). On 7 October 2025, the Vechernye Vedomosti newspaper reported that a case of Nazi rehabilitation had been initiated against him for his publications on the Novouralsk Free Word website. During the investigation, Kazakov signed a recognisance not to leave the country.
In December, it was reported that the charges had been supplemented with another count of rehabilitation for his publications on the same website.
In 2022, the pensioner was tried seven times under the administrative article on discrediting the use of the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences); in
