Vitalii Alekseev

Former chief inspector of the Siberian Electronic Customs, served in the customs authorities for more than 20 years. He was detained on 5 September 2023, sent to a pre-trial detention centre on 11 September on charges of preparation for a terrorist act, justification of terrorism and participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation. On 22 March 2024, Alekseev was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime colony.
