Biography

He is a resident of Rubtsovsk. On 29 February 2024, he was detained and subsequently taken into custody. A case was initiated against him under the articles on terrorist acts, involvement in terrorist activities, training in terrorist activities and calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, he made three homemade incendiary devices and threw them into the building of the Rubtsovsk military recruitment office, and prior to that he studied “methodological materials” with instructions on arson of military recruitment offices and the manufacture of incendiary devices, as well as persuaded an acquaintance of his to participate in the arson together

He is a resident of Rubtsovsk. On 29 February 2024, he was detained and subsequently taken into custody. A case was initiated against him under the articles on terrorist acts, involvement in terrorist activities, training in terrorist activities and calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, he made three homemade incendiary devices and threw them into the building of the Rubtsovsk military recruitment office, and prior to that he studied “methodological materials” with instructions on arson of military recruitment offices and the manufacture of incendiary devices, as well as persuaded an acquaintance of his to participate in the arson together with him. They also found calls for terrorism in one of his comments.

On 1 August 2025, the court sentenced him to 18 years of imprisonment, of which he is to serve the first four years in a prison and the rest in a high security colony.

In June 2024, Pirogov was also convicted in a case of calling for terrorism. Its details and the imposed sentence are unknown.

In April 2024, he was fined 30,000 rubles for the inscription “No to war” painted on a public transport stop, based on a police report on discrediting the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) drawn against him.
