He was detained on 24 January 2021 in connection with a check under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities, which, according to the investigation, occurred at a rally in support of Alexei Navalny the day before. A criminal case was opened. On 30 June he was sentenced to 1.5 years of suspended sentence.
