Biography
A human rights defender, the founder of the prisoner assistance project Gulagu.net. In 2020, a court in Moscow arrested Osechkin in absentia in a case of fraud committed by a group of persons or causing significant damage. The human rights activist is on the wanted list. In September 2022, Gulagu.net founder Vladimir Osechkin stated that an attempt had been made to kill him in the French city of Biarritz.
