Vladimir Shipunov

A resident of Altai Krai. He was prosecuted for justification of terrorism because of his comments on VKontakte. The content of the comments is unknown, but the court claims that Shipunov left them "having a negative attitude towards the President of the Russian Federation, dissatisfied with the activities of the state authorities of the Russian Federation and being dissatisfied with the special military operation being carried out".

On 9 September 2025, the court sentenced him to six years in a general regime colony.

It is not known when exactly the case against Shipunov was initiated. On 5 and 6 August, the Tselinniy District Court of Altai Krai considered ten administrative protocols drawn up against Shipunov under the article on discrediting the army, and one under the article on displaying banned symbols. The court imposed penalties for all of them, but the penalties, as well as the essence of the protocols, are unknown.
