Biography
Ivakhnik was subjected to detention on 31 October 2010 during a rally in Gostiny Dvor in St. Petersburg as part of the "Strategy-31" campaign for freedom of assembly; on 1 November 2010, during the transfer of detainees from one police department to another, Ivakhnik managed to escape; 4 March 2011, operatives of the North-West Federal District Police Department and the District Centre for Countering Extremism searched Ivakhnik's home, after which he is effectively given the status of a suspect, interrogated, and released on his own personal recognisance; on 11 March 2011, he was charged with participation in the activities of
