Vyacheslav Barabashov

A resident of the Irkutsk region, a cycling enthusiast. At the end of August 2022, law enforcers searched Barabashov's house in the case of spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces, and his devices were seized. The charge was twice reclassified: first from the 1st part of the case about "fakes" to the 2nd, then the court, passing sentence, reclassified back to the 1st. On 14 September 2023, Barabashov was given a six-month suspended sentence.
