He lived in Moscow and worked as a packer. On August 23, 2022, he was detained on allegations of using obscene language and harassing passersby, and a protocol was filed for petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Offenses Code). The following day, a court sentenced him to 12 days of administrative arrest. The "Support for Political Prisoners. Memorial" project reports that, as stated (apparently in the administrative case materials), during questioning related to the case, Vladyko allegedly expressed his intention to travel to Ukraine and join the military formation "Right Sector" to participate in combat on Ukraine's side. A case of preparation for participation in the activities of an extremist organization was opened against him. On 1 September, Vladyko was taken into custody. Later, he was also accused of preparing for high treason. Initially, he pleaded guilty, but in court, he stated that his confession was given under pressure, including physical coercion. According to the case materials, a backpack with a Right Sector chevron sewn on the inside, a printout of the train schedule Moscow - Minsk - Grodno - Warsaw, a set of military uniforms and a first-aid kit were found at Vladyko's home. Vladyko stated at the trial that he did not know the origin of these items. The lawyer noted that they were found a week after the first search, and the second search was conducted without photo fixation.

On 27 June 2023, Vladyko was sentenced to 10 years in a strict regime colony. On 21 November 2023, the court of appeal reduced the sentence by two months.

On 7 November 2024, Vladyko was stripped of his Russian citizenship.
