Yurii Sychenko

A Ukrainian serviceman. On September 10, 2024, he was captured in Kursk region. The captured military men were insulted and forced to praise the Russian Airborne Forces and Putin on video camera. A criminal case was opened against Sychenko for committing a terrorist act - this is how the actions of Ukrainian soldiers in Kursk region were classified. On March 5, 2025, he was sentenced to 17 years in a strict regime penal colony.
