On 25 November 2021, a criminal case was opened against Minenko for involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 26 November, her home was searched and she was interrogated the next day. Initially, Minenko was also accused of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation, but this charge was later dropped. On 16 October 2023, Minenko was sentenced to a fine of 330 thousand rubles.
